Who is the course suitable for?
The course is particularly suitable for school leavers over the age of 18 or those new to the workplace. It is suitable for any employee requiring a basic grounding in essential workplace health and safety issues. Successful completion of all nine units of this course and the online multiple choice exam leads to the award of the nationally recognised Level 2 Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace.
Prerequisites
All candidates must pass a basic skills check, prior to the course to ensure they have a minimum level of numeracy and literacy.
What does the course cover?
The course comprises nine units as set out below. The course is delivered by means of lectures and interactive workshops. A written assignment must be completed for each of the nine units. The course is completed by a City & Guilds online (GOLA) multiple choice exam. This is undertaken on the same day as Unit four and cannot be taken until all other units have been completed.
