Who is the course suitable for?
The course is particularly suitable for school leavers over the age of 18 or those new to the workplace. It is suitable for any employee requiring a basic grounding in essential workplace health and safety issues. Successful completion of this course provides accreditation for Unit 4 of 9 units, leading to the nationally recognised Level 2 Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace.
Unit four ensures learners maintain a positive attitude towards safety at work.
IMPORTANT
This unit can only be undertaken by candidates that have already completed all other units for the 3681 award. This unit concludes with the City & Guilds on-line GOLA exam which requires knowledge of all other units.
Prerequisites
All candidates must have passed all eight other units of the 3681 course prior to undertaking this unit and the GOLA end exam.
What does the course cover?
Candidates will be required to give presentations to demonstrate their Health & Safety knowledge and their communication skills.
- Outcome 1: Participate in Health and safety awareness training
- Outcome 2: Communicate effectively with others
- Assignment: Practical activities relating to the above outcomes
- GOLA: On-line multiple choice exam 40 questions in one hour. Covering the knowledge requirements for units 1, 2 & 4-9
