The course is particularly suitable for Graduate Engineers and established Engineers or Technicians requiring an introduction to this discipline. It is particularly suited to those involved in the design of Controlled Parking Zones.

What does the course cover?

The course provides an introduction to Parking Design, covering the main techniques and legislation currently used in the industry. Delegates will be taken through all the stages needed to design and introduce a Controlled Parking Zone. The course comprises six sessions, as set out below.

• Session 1: Parking Policy
• Session 2: Parking Accumulation Survey
• Session 3: Parking Machines
• Session 4: Car Park Layouts
• Session 5: Controlled Parking Zones
• Session 6: Disability Discrimination Act 1995
